As we arrive at the beautiful Faial Island in the magnificent Azores archipelago, our team will warmly welcome you. We will start by introducing you to this comfortable sailboat, moored in the charming Marina da Horta. If weather conditions allow, we'll embark on a Sunset Welcome Tour. To end the day, there will be time to explore the town of Horta until nightfall and prepare for the start of this exciting adventure!

Sunday

With the first rays of sunlight, we begin our journey from Marina da Horta towards Marina de Velas on São Jorge Island. Enjoy our selection of breakfast served shortly after departure. During the trip, we'll have the pleasure of admiring the stunning landscape of the three islands of the "Triangle" and we may be surprised by the rich local marine life. A light lunch will be served before we arrive at São Jorge (Velas). Upon disembarking in São Jorge, we will be welcomed and guided by Pedro, an experienced Dive Master familiar with the best diving spots on the island. In this first dive (10 to 30 meters deep), we'll encounter a fascinating mix of diverse marine life, dramatic rock formations, and excellent visibility. We'll admire the incredible diversity of marine species, from vibrant colorful fish to octopuses, turtles, rays, and moray eels. The rock formations create a truly magical setting, with tunnels, caves, and arches inviting exploration and underwater photography. As an optional truly memorable experience, we propose Night Diving. Under the starry sky, we'll have a completely different perspective of the marine environment. The darkness creates an intimate and intriguing atmosphere, while underwater lantern beams reveal shoals of nocturnal fish "dancing" around us, displaying their mesmerizing swimming patterns, along with night creatures like octopuses, shrimps, and crabs emerging from their hideouts. This is an unforgettable experience, full of mystery and fascination, which will surely leave a lasting memory.

Monday

We start the day with a fantastic dive at Baixa dos Rosais, where you can discover the diversity of marine life under the crystal-clear waters. As night falls, we embark on an exciting night sailing adventure under the starry sky towards Terceira Island, heading to Angra do Heroísmo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Night sailing under a star-filled sky gives the sea an aura of mystery and charm. The serene waters reflect the glow of the constellations above, while the gentle sway of the sailboat creates a unique atmosphere. As we sail through the shadows of the night, it feels like navigating through the secrets of the ocean, an experience that awakens the senses and fuels the imagination. During this nighttime journey, our dedicated crew will be at your service, providing a truly spectacular sailing experience. Enjoy this unique moment, where the combination of natural beauty and the tranquility of the night merge to create an unforgettable experience. After the first rays of sun, we'll arrive at the marina of Angra, ready to explore this historic city.

Tuesday

In the morning, we'll have the opportunity to explore Baixa da Serreta, a rocky reef formed by repeated underwater eruptions and rich in marine life. You can encounter groupers, seabreams, pufferfish, groupers, and even larger species like tunas and barracudas in deeper areas. The caves and rock formations of this unique underwater environment are home to a fascinating variety of marine life, including lobsters, octopuses, moray eels, and a diversity of small fish and invertebrates. In the afternoon, we'll explore the timeless city of Angra do Heroísmo, a memorable location recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, steeped in history and traditional architecture.

Wednesday

Sailing towards Pico Island is an exciting and tranquil journey across the sea. As the boat moves with the wind, you'll have the opportunity to admire the blue and crystal-clear waters of the Atlantic Ocean. The wind in the sails creates a sense of freedom and adventure as we approach the majestic Pico Mountain, which rises imposingly as we get closer. During the journey, we may encounter local marine life such as dolphins, seabirds, and whales. It's an engaging experience that allows us to appreciate the marine nature of the Azores. Upon arriving at Lajes do Pico marina, we'll be greeted by the charming scenery of this picturesque whaling village, with its colorful seaside houses and lush natural surroundings. It's a special moment to appreciate the unique beauty of the Azorean islands and experience the authenticity of this maritime destination.

Thursday

In the morning, we'll have the opportunity to enjoy a coastal dive around the crystal-clear waters of Lajes do Pico. This dive will allow us to explore the rich marine life of the region, with possible sightings of colorful fish, marine invertebrates, and perhaps even some larger species that inhabit these waters. In the afternoon, you'll have free time to explore the charming whaling village of Lajes do Pico and learn more about its fascinating history. This village has a long connection to the whaling industry, and you can visit the Whalers Museum to learn about this local tradition and the importance of whales in the island's history. Additionally, Lajes do Pico offers stunning landscapes with panoramic views of the ocean and surrounding mountains, providing an ideal setting for a relaxing and cultural stroll.

Friday

Early in the day, we'll take a short 30-minute land journey to the charming village of Madalena. Later, in the late morning, we'll depart from Madalena port towards Horta marina for our final dive of this adventure in the stunning waters of the Azores. During the crossing, lunch will be served on board, with the majestic Pico Mountain as a backdrop. This dive offers a breathtaking view of colorful and diverse marine life. We'll be accompanied by Luis, an experienced and certified Dive Master, who will guide us on a fascinating journey, revealing a wide variety of marine species inhabiting these waters.

Saturday

The time has come to bid farewell to these stunning landscapes and embark on the transfer to the airport. Thus, we conclude this incredible Diving and Sailing odyssey through the islands of the central archipelago.
