Saturday

Upon arriving at Faial Island in the magnificent Azores archipelago, our team extends a warm welcome to you. We will begin by presenting the details of this comfortable sailboat, moored at the picturesque Horta Marina. If weather conditions permit, we will embark on a two-hour Sunset Welcome Tour. To conclude the day, you will have time to explore the city of Horta until nightfall and prepare for the start of this fantastic adventure!

Sunday

With the first rays of light, we depart from Horta Marina towards Velas Marina (São Jorge). Enjoy our selection of breakfast, which will be served shortly after departure. During the journey, we will have the pleasure of admiring the magnificent landscape of the three islands of the "Triangle" and may be surprised by the rich local marine life. A light lunch will be served before our arrival in São Jorge (Velas). Upon arrival, we will be greeted and accompanied by Pedro (experienced Dive Master and connoisseur of the best diving spots on the island). In this first dive (10 to 30 meters deep), we have a fascinating combination of diverse marine life, dramatic rock formations, and excellent visibility. We will contemplate the incredible diversity of marine species, from vibrant colorful fish to octopuses, turtles, rays, and moray eels. The rock formations create a truly magical setting, with tunnels, caves, and arches that invite exploration and underwater photography. We propose (optional) something truly unforgettable - Night Diving. Under the starry sky, we have a completely different perspective of the marine environment. The darkness creates an intimate and intriguing atmosphere, while the beams of underwater lights reveal shoals of nocturnal fish "dancing" around us, displaying their mesmerizing swimming patterns, and nocturnal creatures such as octopuses, shrimps, and crabs emerging from their hiding places. It's an unforgettable, surprising experience, full of mystery and fascination.

Monday

We start the day with fantastic diving at Baixa dos Rosais where you can see fish and others. As night falls, we embark on an exciting night sailing adventure under the starry sky towards Terceira Island, heading to Angra do Heroísmo, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Dinner will be served on board during the journey, as well as breakfast the following morning. During the sailing, our crew will provide you with a truly spectacular night sailing experience. After the first rays of sunshine, we will arrive at Angra Marina.

Tuesday

In the morning, we will dive into Baixa da Serreta. In the afternoon, we will visit the historic and timeless city of Angra do Heroísmo, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After dinner, we will begin the night sailing in the vastness of the ocean towards Banco D. João de Castro, where we will arrive in the early morning.

Wednesday

After breakfast in the middle of the ocean, we begin preparations for this dive located between the central and eastern group where you can see the mythical Manta Rays as well as a spectacular dramatic underwater landscape, with excellent visibility, composed of imposing walls of steep rock, caves, and cracks that provide an ideal habitat for an abundant variety of marine species. Colorful fish shoals, such as Salemas, Sargos, and Barracudas, as well as octopuses, moray eels, and crustaceans hidden among the rocks, can be seen. Sea turtles are also occasionally sighted, adding an extra element of excitement to the dive. After this unforgettable experience, we begin the journey towards Pico Island.

Thursday

At the first rays of sunshine, we will be greeted by the majestic Mountain of Pico, and we will dock at the marina of the picturesque whaling village of Lajes. Visit to the village and after lunch we will (by land), visit the friendly village of Madalena. At the end of the day after dinner, we start the navigation towards Horta.

Friday

We leave Horta Marina in search of a unique experience exploring the stunning underwater mountain Princesa Alice. We will be accompanied safely by Luis (experienced certified Dive Master), who will accompany us on a fascinating journey, revealing the secrets of this spectacular location. Diving at this location offers a stunning view of steep rock walls and a profusion of colorful marine life. The rocky formations of the bank create a diverse habitat for a wide variety of marine species, from small tropical fish to large predators. One of the most notable attractions of Banco Princesa Alice is the frequent presence of fascinating marine creatures, such as Manta Rays, large shoals of pelagic fish, such as tunas, barracudas, and hammerhead sharks. Get ready to dive into a world of unforgettable, unique natural discoveries!

Saturday

The time has come to bid farewell to these breathtaking landscapes and embark on the transfer to the airport. Thus, we conclude this incredible Diving and Sailing odyssey through the islands of the central archipelago.
